As I was driving home last night, I drove by the practice field and saw cars and trucks all around the field and the Jr. High and Seventh graders practicing. Great memories just came in like a flood as a tear streamed down my face. This is the first time in 12 years that we do not have a child playing football for the McCrory Jaguars. That has literally been our life for the past 12 years. The boys would have "helmet day" with their dad and Hibbets just loved seeing us come in during football season. Made me realize how "time marches on" is so true. Enjoy this time parents, because soon you will be packing them to move away to college. People say that change is good and I am sure that it is, but change is also very hard sometimes. Very proud of my 2 young men and anxious to see what life has in store for them. My mom always told me that you can grow with them or be miserable when they leave home. I will choose to grow with them! Matt would always say, "Bear for now, but Jaguar for life". So, we will now be a Bear, Warrior, and Bison for now but JAGUAR for life. Have a great season guys!!
