As I was driving home today I was reminded of so very many joyous and fun experiences with Sharon Thomas, who passed away early today. I met Sharon just shortly after I met Mike, and we were all "theatre -- all the time". She took a chance and cast me in "Oliver" when many might not have done so. Mike and I were so privileged to work alongside her as she portrayed a splendid Dolly Levi in "Hello Dolly". I produced several shows that she directed. And years and years of holiday cheer with the Festival Singers. As I said earlier, heaven has gained a new star that Oakland County theatre has lost.
