As I was driving home tonight from the Kealakehe high school mayday cultural program I could barely see the silhouette of someone hitch hiking in the dark, as I passed by I could make out it was a guy with a back pack,after about a half mile or so I felt bad for not stopping and picking up this person trying to get a ride in the darkness of the night,my gut instinct told me to turn around and give this person a ride..so I hung a U turn drove back and picked up this hitch hiker...Im so glad I listened to my gut instinct,it turned to be a student that couldnt get a ride home from the mayday program that we both attended,he would have walked about 8 miles in the darkness to get home,I gave him a ride to his front door:)....the lesson for the day...always listen to you gut feeling!....
