As I was going over elf protocol this morning, I had a memory of something Joseph Jones did while working at LW in the mall. At the time, Wm Blount DECA had a wrap shop and the were located at the other side of the mall. We were not in competition with each, but for some reason the students who were working for both thought we were. Joseph was a tall, slender, young man with red hair, freckles and a smile that would light up the room. He was wearing the elf outfit, complete with elf hat. WM Blount had someone dressed up as a wrapped gift and the box kept on leaving promotional materials on our front desk. Joseph decided he would go to their wrap stand and do the same. This went on for about 1/2 hour--back and forth. The next thing I know and see, Joseph ran by LW chasing the wrapped box! Such a funny sight to see:). I had forgotten that moment until this morning. We lost Joseph in a car accident while he was in college. LW is also dedicated to Joe.
