As I was listening to this song this morning, I was thinking of family and friends who have walked and are walking in the shadow of the valley of death. Some came back to the earth side of existence and some to the other side. I remembered again the second funeral I had during my years as pastor. During the funeral I recalled how the family was gathered in the living room and the gentle farmer dying of prostate cancer was in the adjoining bedroom. He was squirming a bit due to the pain. As we prayed for his healing, I noted that if God heals him now, we win, and if he goes on to Heaven, we still win. We were all surprised and blessed to hear the old farmer exclaim from his bed, Thats for sure! Praise God for the faith that always gives the win/win situation. May this song bless your heart today.
