As I was prepping for my shoot tomorrow, I decided that I should pack my flash (as we will be working inside). It had been resting in its case for quite a while since most all of my work in done with natural light. ie outdoors :) I soon discovered that I had made a terrible mistake!! I had left the alkaline batteries inside the last time I had used it. THEY LEAKED, and corroded my flash... I cried real tears... But thanks to the internet I now have a new use for white vinegar, which I have always believed to be magic. A vinegar moistened cotton swab saved my beloved speedlight!!!
