As I was reading a local Year End review I was reflecting back on 2014. At Jeff Dennis Jewelers 2014 was filled with excitement and positive publicity. As you know, we had a very successful promotion for the 3rd year in a row. Thanks to an errant snap from Manny Ramirez to Peyton Manning on the opening play of the Super Bowl, a safety occured. That triggered refunds to several hundred people who had purchased jewelry and also $500.00 gift cards to folks who registered in store for a giveaway if the Safety occurred. The next few days were absolutely crazy with interviews on CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and many others. Newspapers from across the world ran articles and for the first time in my life... Jeff Dennis Jewelers was trending on Facebook and Twitter. Cool Stuff! 2013 and 2012 were equally as exciting due to the Iron Bowl Shut Out Promotion and the Labor Day Rain Promotions hitting. Oddly enough, I have not received a Christmas Card from Lloyds of London. :) 2014 has been a great business year. We have had phenomenal growth and I am grateful for the support that our local community has shown us. You folks are awesome! As we close out 2014, I would be remiss not to thank my fantastic group of employees. They have gone over and above, worked overtime, stayed late, worked refund parties and smiled almost the whole time! ;) We are not a perfect company and we do make mistakes but I can promise you, we will try every way possible to treat folks like we want to be treated and we will do everything we can to make your purchase and your visit here pleasant. If buying jewelry cant be fun then something is wrong. As a Dad, Husband and owner, I am successful because I have surrounded myself with good people. My wife Mindy and my girls put up with Dad being at work a lot of late nights and also frequent travels. I could not ask for a better bride to walk along this journey with. She is a true Proverbs 31 wife and she is a great mom to our kids. Many years ago, I made a commitment to honor God with our business. Without his blessings on our business and his guidance in our lives, everything we do would be meaningless. God has blessed us in many ways and we in turn are blessed to bless others. I am thankful to God for bringing me the blessings of you, our customers. Philippians 1:3 says Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. I truly am thankful for you all! I cant wait to see what 2015 holds for Jeff Dennis, Jeff Dennis Jewelers, The North Jefferson Area and our family. 2014 has been great but the best is yet to come! Carpe Diem! Happy New Year!
