As I was reading the story of Joseph (Son of Jacob) I am in awe on how good as a person Joseph was. First, His unconditional love to his siblings despite of all wrong doings they had committed towards him. Second, his faithfulness to God despite of being in prison for a false accusation of crime which he did not committed. And lastly, his decision to forgive all who inflected harm over him. I am sharing this verses that really touched my heart. But Joseph replied, “Don’t be afraid of me. Am I God, that I can punish you? You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. No, don’t be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” (Genesis 50:19-21 NLT) You see sometimes people will cause you hurt, disappointment, frustration, grief, anger and or stress. But you always have the option to retaliate if you want. God gave us the liberty to decide on how are we going to respond over matters. But choosing to yield on Gods principle towards these types of situations. Is not as easy as how Joseph chose it. Why? Because at the midst of these situations, God wants you NOT TO REACT BUT RESPOND IN MEEKNESS and with FORGIVENESS regardless who the offended or offender. And regardless how painful in the natural may the situation be. Life cannot be really fair. Thats the reality of it. But despite of its unfairness. One thing is for sure, God will not place things in your life that is not under his divine plans. It may not be beautiful in your eyes right now but God had intended it all for GOOD. You may not understand the wisdom of the Lord over the matter but something good will always come out to these situations if you will choose to trust God to move in those particular situations of your life just as how he used all bad situations Joseph had for his goodness.
