As I was saying about baths, for an actual communal bath nearby--Banya 5 (Russian bath) is in SLU and great--but you have to wear your suit and its co-ed. Olympus Day Spa (locations in Lakewood and Lynnwood) is fabulous! You can get naked, but its only for women--sorry gents, you are out of luck, yet again. (But might be a nice gift idea for your wife/girlfriend.) BTW--they are sponsoring a Mother/Daughter look-alike contest right now...dont think well win. (Darn!) Sol Duc Hot Springs in Olympic National Park is a sweet getaway--bathing suits but outdoor pools with real natural hot springs--and their cabins and restaurant are lovely too. Watch for their spring specials--this is the best time for a deal. Ive been missing this place lately and would love to plan a road trip if I could get away--alas, too busy (catch me if you can :-))! Sol Duc is the perfect distance and the scenery is lovely, especially if you have a nice ride to take you there. Unfortunately, not in the cards for me... Anyone know of any more baths around here?
