As I was scrolling through my face book, Pray for Ben was posted. My heart became heavy and tears came to my eyes as God showed me that this is not a title but a call to action for a dear brother in Christ. God forgive me for my lack of compassion and commitment. We are one body in Christ and when one hurts we all hurt. Paul through the Spirit says to pray without ceasing so whether in word or my personal prayer time I will Pray for Ben. Lord, You are all powerful, in majestic glory You have created all things seen and unseen. In Your loving splendor You have fashioned us with so great a love that You used your own hands. You are our Shepherd and we are your sheep, and the Shepherd loves the sheep even to lay down His life for them! I humbly but yet boldly ask O Lord in Your great love and mercy, heal your child Ben. So that he may be able to proclaim your word and your greatness to the world. That he may be able to magnify and glorify and exalt your Holy name. And that through his healing you may be glorified and many would come to Christ. Give strength , courage, boldness to our brother Ben and cast out all fear and doubt and let only the fruit of the Spirit remain. Ben fight lthe good fight of faith and believe. Remember no matter what trials or tribulations we go through Christ is always there. And remember also....you are never ever alone. May you and your family be at peace and be strengthened.
