As I was scrolling through posts here this morning, I noticed many of my friends dealing with a lot of difficulties; chronic pain, illness, grief, stress. It left me feeling emotional. I always wish things could be different, better for us all. Then I thought about the game of golf, yeah...golf. For many (maybe even most) golf is a frustrating game. Youre walking forever, trying to hit an impossibly small ball in a specific direction, often ending up in the rough, sand traps or even water. Just when youre ready to quit and throw your club down the fairway, you get in one amazingly beautiful shot...maybe even a hole in one. And it keeps you going. It keeps you motivated. You remember why you started to play the damn game in the first place. I know there is very little I can do to help with all the difficulties so many are struggling with right now. But I can, and do, wish for you that one good shot that keeps you in the game.
