As I was standing at the counter today hulling strawberries for shortcake for dessert tonight, and had just baked muffins and a cake, I reflected on how life was almost normal today. I am so lucky that it was almost normal. It could have been so much worse, praise the Lord. Last Monday at this time I was settling into my bed in the hospital room next to Dylan. He had just been in a four wheeler accident and suffered a minor traumatic brain injury, and our future was uncertain. Today he is doing very well, getting better and better and stronger and stronger every day. His recovery will take at minimum a few weeks and up to a few months, but I am so thankful he is okay and that he is expected to make a full recovery. Love you to the moon and back buddy xoxo
