As I was taking the kids to school this morning, I found myself trying to explain to them what happened on this day 13 years ago. They looked at me with innocent faces asking why someone would do that I then realized I had already said too much for their little minds to comprehend. As we pulled up to the school I tried to make a funny to get their minds elsewhere, kissed them and told them I loved them and to have a good day and watched them walk into the school holding each others hand. This song was starting to play and a TON of emotions hit me.....the waterworks would not stop. I wasnt just remembering all the victims from 911 but all of the craziness and meanness from school shootings and innocent victims that have lost their lives since that day. All I can do is hold my loved ones close and pray we will be ok as a family and as a country.......
