As I was traveling on the road to the market I stopped to help a person who’s ox cart had lost a wheel. They could not lift the cart and put the wheel back on by themselves. I made a Friend that day. Further on I came to a river that was too swift to cross on foot. My friend coming up behind me stopped and gave me a ride across. Although it is just a parable it is filled with meaning & truth. When we stop to help others they are often latter able to help us. If not at least we have made a Friend. I experienced this full cycle this morning and I am grateful.
