As I was walking out to start my car, the delivery man was placing a couple of packages on our porch. He immediately recognized me from last year, when he delivered MANY packages. You see, I do 99% of my Christmas shopping online, and last year, I explained to him my utter and crippling fear of crowded stores -- especially malls -- and how much I appreciated people like him bringing everything right to our door. Since I worked at home this time last year, he probably thought I was a borderline recluse. I would have liked to think he remembered me for the homemade peanut brittle I gifted him last year, but today, we chatted briefly and as he left, he said, I hope they never get your meds right or I may be out of a job!
