As I watch as hundreds of thousands of helpless, hungry and obviously angry Nigerian youths scramble in different stadia across the nation for a job position that is possibly unavailable, I was seeing a different thing, I was seeing a time bomb waiting for an appropriate time and a small trigger to explode. As we mourn the lost souls in an uncalled for national tragedy, i have a different set of people I weep for. I weep albeit in advance for our political class, our elites whom are comfortable amidst a looming tragedy that wont spare them. Imagine that army of desperate, hungry, angry and jobless youths we saw on Saturday unleashed in every govt house in the country. I weep for that unfortunate governor or even whom such youths will meet with his whole family because they might be no one left to inherit all the money stacked in Swiss account. I dont believe in that mantra Nigerian youths are very weak I just believe that we Nigerians have a very high absorber for tension and suffering. But we shouldnt forget that every String without minding the level it stretches still has its elastic limit. The endurance of Nigerians definitely has an elastic limit and the earlier our elites starts appreciating that the better for them. we the intending elites should be forewarned.
