As I watched this video I couldnt help but think about our nation and it saddened my heart. To be an American used to mean something. It used to mean standing for freedom in the homeland and being a big brother helping to protect those who couldnt stand alone. Being an American meant that we were unified , undivided because we understood that a nation divided against itself could not stand. America was the land of opportunity where dreamers could dream big and if they dared to take a chance, in this country they could make it. Being an American meant shouldering one anothers burdens and being glad to do so because we knew that helping one another be better meant that we were better as a nation. It was good, it was right and it was One Nation Under God. Not just any God, but the One true God, the only God who can make this Nation Great. What happened since 9/11/2001? What changed? This country, our America, is more divided now than it has ever been. Selfishness, greed and the thirst for more power, by those in power has driven this nation to a moral decline where there are no longer absolutes that rightly define right from wrong. We call what is evil good and what is good we now call evil. Weve gotten off track, severely off track. I dont know about you but I want my grandchildren to grow up in a free America! An America where its safe to play outside or ride a bike with friends or play hide and go seek at night. We were born with a God given right to be free and the only ones who can allow that freedom to be taken away is us. Its time to make a change. Its time to take our Nation back. Its time to be One Nation, Under God, Indivisible... Again! Its not impossible but it does take action. It takes everyone doing their part, humbling ourselves, crying out to God in repentance as a Nation and inviting Him back in, one life and one home at a time. Im going to do my part. Will you join me? And The Lord said... If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
