As I went through Nates clothes last night, preparing for school to start, I encountered an epiphany.. I filled an entire trash bag with his folded clothes that he could no longer wear, the girls were in their room playing the Hand Me Down game as they cleaned through their clothes, just as my brother and I use to. I dont even want to talk about how their room looks like an ANTM dressing room or how Nate has 2 brand new pair of shoes hes had for a year that have never been worn.. What does all of that mean Clay? God works in mysterious ways and not just to bless us but also to open our eyes to things we need to see, things that our humanity is blind to, things that may need to humble and position us; to prepare us for an even greater blessing! We all get sidetracked by whatever goes on around us and are so quick to make those sidetracks a part of our daily route, that we forget the straightforward path that God has set for us to travel. Stop making your spiritual gps recalculate your route to the blessings God has for you because you want to go your own direction, youll forever be lost..
