As I will be gone all week, I decided to draw a card from the Divine Legacy deck for some guidance for us, something to think about in my absence. I have drawn the 7 of Cups. It is a very striking card with images of beautiful glass cups filled with various thoughts, dreams or wishes within them. The castle represents material wealth and home, perhaps the fulfillment of all wishes. The jewels symbolize financial abundance and wealth. The snake symbolizes wisdom and power, transformation and healing. The human head relates to the desire for romantic love and a perfect life partner, someone who reflects the very best parts of our Self. The shroud suggests our need for self-awareness and spiritual illumination and enlightenment. The laurel wreath represents status, victory and honor, self-achievement. The dragon is, like the snake, a symbol of transformation and magic, but he is also a powerful symbol of spiritual and supernatural forces. Are you currently weighing your options about the next best course of action? Are you fortunate enough to be given so many options that you hesitate to choose one over another? Take some time to evaluate the pros and cons of each individual choice. See them through your spiritual eyes. Which choice will not only enrich your physical well-being, but will also stimulate your emotional and spiritual growth? Be careful; take the time to see through any illusions or pitfalls connected to your wishes and desires. As the song Be Careful What You Wish For says: Paint the perfect picture But these pictures are deceiving Cause the colours lost their place And theyre dripping down and bleeding And theyre running and running away Packed it up and leaving And these dreams turn to nightmares Like a promise with no meaning So be careful what you wish for You just might get it And if this is what you live for You might as well forget it You dont know what you wish for The small print, never end Be careful what you wish for You just might get it (get it get it) You just might get it (get it get it) So hold tight ~Zebrahead There is a reason it is called temptation! Sometimes our powerful urges stem from purely physical gratification with no thought of the consequences of our actions. Choose wisely and choose well:) Here is a short video that definitively displays what happens when we wish to be someone else, when we are not grateful for who and what we already are. Remember to be grateful for the blessings of your life; you are perfect, just as you are :)
