As Im quick to share my good fortune about business class upgrades, free massages and other wonderful travel perks, I guess I should balance it with todays hysterical gong show. At my connection in Houston I was told to pick up my luggage before my connection. After waiting forever with no sign of it I was then told it must be going directly to Toronto. Next came a brutally slow, hot security line where everyone was grumpy and I had to sprint to my gate, almost missing my flight as theyd been paging me and were hilariously stern on my arrival. My seat was the very back of the plane, did not recline, treated me to pungent wafts from the toilet every time it was used, which was constantly, and i seemed to always have a crotch or an ass in my face as people lined up. The attendant accidentally dropped my Coke on my lap. And when we arrived in Toronto my bag is not here, as it was apparently detained by the TSA in Houston and is still being held as suspicious somehow. Unfortunately, my shuttle voucher was in that bag, and they seem to have no record of me or my car that theyve had for the whole week. Which turns out to be moot as, after convincing them to pick me up anyway, my keys are in the detained bag too so I cant go anywhere at all tonight! So, my adventure continues as I will be staying at the airport in sticky jeans and a smelly t-shirt until my bag (hopefully) arrives later tonight or tomorrow morning. Hahaha hahaha. This is actually quite entertaining.
