As Is? or Make Changes? Sometmes If we do not accept people, places and things As Is - it can lead to trouble. CONTENT? - a state of peaceful happiness - satisfied Or struggle, wrestle, fight, argue, lose sleep, frustration, impatient, complaining, bitterness Sometimes, a lot of times we can make changes, make corrections, improvements. Confused? Know yourself, the temperature of your own peacefullness, calmness, patient level. Seek wisdom from God. He will be your guide. We are all created differently. - God created us - We are His workmanship, so do not be critical of how we have been created. To criticize, is to criticize the creator. Some can handle more stress than others. Some are created to work hard. Some to hardly work. Some like math, others dont. Some are tall, some are short. Some are outspoken, others are quiet. 2 Samuel 16:10NIV But the king said, “What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the Lord said to him, ‘Curse David,’ who can ask, ‘Why do you do this?’ ” The key to this is Who can ask Who can question God? Whether we make changes or accept things as is all depends on how God created us. Here is a question to consider: Will not accepting as is rob, steal and destroy our peace? If Joe acts in a way that does not meet our earthly standards and expectations, what do we do? What happens when the world around us is no where close to what we expect it to look like? Each person will have a different perspective which depends on how we were created. Some are calm, some get upset, some want to go change the world, etc. We must consider who we are when handling a situation. Our inner peace depends on it. Remember John 10:10 The enemy wants to rob, steel, destroy our peace I am learning, the more I try to accept this world as Jesus did. The more I accept the people as is as God has created them, the more peace I will get. If our souls can find peace in correcting others, if joy comes out of making changes, if there is excitement in our souls, then we should make the necessary changes and improvements. Every scenario is different. The questions becomes simpler as I write. Will As is lead to inner peace? Will not accepting As is stir up trouble? Does Making Changes/improvements bring joy and excitement? Or will making changes lead to frustration and attack our inner peace? Can we handle trying to be a positive influence on changing people and the world? or should we leave it as is and let God deal with it? Remember we are all different. There is no general, textbook answer. Jesus will write the answer that matches you on your heart. Do not be concerned with others and how they think. A lot of people are bias to there own thinking. Just because they feel a call to go on missions across the world, it doesnt mean everyone else should do it. If you were not created to do what others want you to do. Resist and say NO! I have a different purpose No one should created your purpose and impose there own beliefs on you. Your purpose comes from God. If BOB can handle it and God has given him the abilities to take on a role, then BOB should go for it. On the other hand, if we desire to do Bobs role, but God did not create us to do it, if we cant handle it, then we should stop and accept our own assignment. Philippians 4:11 NIV I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Psalm 16:8-11 NIV I keep my eyes always on the Lord . With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Last words God loves you! Let Him be your guide May peace be with you! To the Glory of God!
