As John and I are checking out at Kroger, we see a Momma, struggling. She has a baby in footed pjs, crying, a probably 4 year old, and a teen chasing the 4 year old around the store. I watched her struggle to push a cart, calm a crying baby, and decide which groceries to place on the belt to pay. The little 4 year old was holding a bear that she obviously wanted but the mom wouldnt (or couldnt) buy. As the little girl ran away, crying, with her sister trying to console her, I scanned the bear, handed it to her, and told her to go home and have sweet dreams with her new toy. Its something as little as a stuffed bear but its enough to show people theres still good in the world 💚
