As John implied, there were a few bumps along the road in last session. This is, to some degree, to be expected. Its a new system, a new chronicle, and a different crew/direction than were used to. Some elements were discussed last night; Ill leave that particular conversation where it lies. I wanted to discuss the current downtime system. Part One - How is it meant to work? Were meant to put in our downtime actions before end of session, though were largely doing this blind. We dont know what noticable city events happened until the following month, unless we were directly involved during session. Our contacts/allies/influences/merits wouldnt give us information until after our downtime actions are in, which kinda eliminates the point of those investments. The end result is just having some boilerplated actions thrown in for the xp. Having a build that produces a large number of downtime actions is suddenly a detriment, as theyre kinda devalued/an outright detriment. Part Two - You have our downtime actions by the time youre leaving game site. When would we get the results of said actions?
