As KCPE draws near come January and kids and parents from poor background will be subjected to uncalled trauma.We have seen bright kids in national school drops because of school fees..where is the bursary?Last year,kids from poor family who were admitted to national schools were being interchanged with kids from rich families claiming they cant afford fees...its a shame.I believe jubilee government should as a matter of urgency initiate radical reforms in secondary schools management and come out with affordable fees structure.Headteachers and greedy boards wont help us.Its sad to see the case in star times where top girl in nyeri 2011 is languishing at home because of fees.You have given too much attention to teachers demand ignoring key stakeholder ;the parents and students.It makes no logic for a child to spend in a school term more than what a family of four can spend in three months.Neither does it add up for secondary fees to be at par or higher to that of private university..its crazy...KUSEMA NA KUTENDA...you are the right person to address this issue since you share humble beginning like most of us..God bless you William Samoei Ruto Politician
