As Many of you know, a few months ago, 2 of my guitars were stolen. I have not recovered them, BUT, my insurance thru strict attention to detail, asking a lot of questions and getting 2nd opinions from several people who work in the insurance industry, I have been able to get those two guitars replaced. I got my new Gibson Les Paul over the summer and its a true beauty. A very high quality instrument that is not an exact replacement, but an effective and different (in the best sense) instrument all the same. The tone is ridiculous and playability off the charts. Today, I ordered a guitar to replace my Jackson. Working with Grover Jackson and Jon Gold from GJ2 Guitars made in the USA by Grover Jackson, I gave the specs for my replacement down to the gnats ass and this thing is going to be simply amazing. I feel extremely grateful for this guitar and the opportunity to work with one of my heroes and an awesome businessman in Grover and Jon. Very fortunate indeed.
