As Mark Mason previously posted, I had to come back to the hospital last night. I had a very severe bout with bladder and rectal spasms. It can happen with the internal radiation surgeries but it is rare. We had to call an ambulance to transport me because the pain was so bad that I could not walk or barely stand. The EMTs were extremely kind and of course the staff here at MUSC is going above and beyond taking care of me. Thank you God that I have outstanding medical care , because this battle is definitely not an easy one. I should be going home in a few hours with so new meds to help with th spasms.
