As Meatloaf sang.... Two out three aint bad.. & that sums up our weekend.. The #1sts finished in 2nd place at Leek. A a tremendous 101 by Leeks Alex Mellor help them reach 213/6 off their 55ovs..2 wkts each for Richo, Turbo & Steeley. Unfortunatly we didnt manage to get near their total & were bowled out for 84 with Richo top scoring with 30. Jackos #barmyarmy #2nds took maximum points off Silverdale at the #sidjenkins With a gud 27 from Bratty & a very gud 38 from Huw we were finally bowled out for 131 in the 41st over. Silverdale scored slowly & lost wkts at regular intervals & were bowled out in the 52nd over for just 101. 2wkts for Huw, 1 each for Parrie & Ed then Bratty with figures of.. 13ovs..4maidens..16runs..6wkts #topbowling saw us take the points #25pts Katharine Hollinshead 😃 The mighty #SundayX1 traveled to 2nd placed Longton & came home victorious. Longton batted first & were bowled out for 116 in 32.5ovs..Suthy2, Palm , Ed & a fantastic 5fer #jug from Rhys doing the damage. We reached the 117 required for 5wkt after 32.5ovs!!...Harv 32, Scott 22, Suthy 25 put us well on the way then Huw 17no & Minipalm 13no saw us home 😃 A great weekend for Rhys 😃 #tekabowson
