As Muslims, do we have the right to vote a woman so as to govern? Islaam came to reform. It is Islaam which gave the woman her true identity, dignity and honour... However, everything should be put at the right place.. If man wants to rule by man-made laws when the Lord of the worlds has decreed a divine code of governance, then most certainly, this will lead to corruption, loss, deviation. «لن يُفلح قوم ولَّوا أمرهم امرأة» A tribe who gives governance in the hands of a woman will not prosper. In this case, do yourself a favour, in sha Allaah, go thouroughly through the Seerah and seek to understand it as understood and explained by the pious predecessors..
