As Muslims we are walking talking representatives of Islam. Islam promotes good manners when interacting with people. The Prophet (peace be upon him) never yelled or screamed. And what did Allah order Musa AS to do? He ordered him to speak to Firaun with gentle speech. Gentle speech to one of the worst men who ever lived. Do we do the same with just normal people? Allah didnt give up on Umar Ibn Khattab when one day he set out to kill the Prophet? So why do we give up on some people? Why are our tongues so harsh sometimes? The Prophet was stoned by little children and still didnt allow Jibraeel to harm them. Isnt it time we stopped blaming everyone else and looked at our own behaviour and ask ourselves, would our Prophet see us as a good example of his beautiful faith?
