As NIMC kick starts the issuance of the National eID Card to enrolled citizens, DG NIMC and his team were in Abeokuta today to support our Ogun state office as they presented former President Obasanjo and Gov. Ibikunle Amosun their brand new cards. Card collection can only be done by the card owner, you cannot collect for anyone. On collection, 5 out of the 13 applets on the card is immediately activated, this includes the payment application. We urge Nigerians to be patient as we increase efforts to issue these cards to all who have enrolled.
