As Nashville says its final goodbyes to beloved TENNESSEAN columnist Gail Kerr, on INSIDE POLITICS this weekend we host an encore presentation of an interview I did with her and her colleague Michael Cass last December. We focus on the excellent Nashville history book she and Cass and others at the paper recently produced entitled: NASHVILLE RISING: HOW MODERN MUSIC CITY CAME TO BE. I also talk with Gail about how she selected topics and produced her three-times a week column. You could see how much she loved her job...and Nashville. I often talked with Gail about politics, but this was the only time I got her to join me on the show.
