As Nicaragua prepares for Purisima, we ask that you join us in prayer for the country God has called us to serve, for the people He has sent us to and for His Name to be glorified. Lines of people will form to come and give prayers and songs of praise to the conception of Mary, in return, they will receive a gift ranging from bags of rice to more elaborate gifts. Families who have been greatly blessed are supposed to host the ceremonies in their homes for their communities. Some of those that we serve struggle to survive and yet feel obligated to participate. These are some of the elaborate decorations and places that have been built.
