As November Movie Night is not long before World AIDS Day, we generally have that as the theme for November, but try to approach it through multiple lenses, having featured Longtime Companion (traditional AIDS theme), And The Band Played On (historical docudrama), and Jeffrey (comedy). This years audience choice is The Cure (2005) which doesnt approach HIV from a gay viewpoint, but instead through the adventures of an HIV positive child. There have been some who have requested movies that were appropriate for younger viewers, and this one is not only appropriate, but also one with a young protagonist. Rated PG-13, check out the trailer below.
