As PJ reminds us in Z:MF science has no ego. It holds on to nothing and evolves constantly. There is a scientific community called The Electric Universe who challenge the established Astrophysicists model, holding that the structure of the universe and its bodies is governed not by gravity but by electricity. They present some interesting logical arguments illustrating how this model could better explain some of the more anomalous phenomena observed in astronomy. It seems that since the Hubble telescope hugely extended our ability to observe the universe, it has ignited a revolution challenging the established model of how our universe works. Even Stephen Hawking recently revised his position on the nature of black holes.
