As Paul could say I press towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. This is no chore, or cold servitude to those who have been bought by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, because He alone changes our desires, our feelings, and our appetites! For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Those still walking in the flesh are dead spiritually. See Romans 8:1-2 KJB only, as some important truths have been removed in the modern so called Bibles! The spirit within must be brought to life through the new birth to have any appreciation whatsoever of spiritual things. Otherwise only the things of time and sense can possibly occupy the unregenerate mind. Ye must be born again. (John 3:3)
