Abu `Amir al-Hawdhani said: Mu`awiyah b. Abi Sufiyan stood among us and said: Beware! The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) stood among us and said: Beware! The people of the Book before were split up into seventy two sects, and this community will be split into seventy three: seventy two of them will go to Hell and one of them will go to Paradise, and it is the majority group. Ibn Yahya and `Amr added in their version : “ There will appear among my community people who will be dominated by desires like rabies which penetrates its patient”, `Amr’s version has: “penetrates its patient. Narrated AbuDharr: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who separates from the community within a span takes off the noose of Islam from his neck. It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: Whoever parts from obedience, and splits away from the Jamaah and dies, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah. Whoever rebels against my Ummah, killing good and evil people alike, and does not try to avoid killing the believers, and does not pay attention to those who are under a covenant, then he is not of me. Whoever fights for a cause that is not clear, advocating tribalism, getting angry for the sake of tribalism, and he is killed, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah. Grade : Sahih (Darussalam) Reference : Sunan an-Nasai 4114 In-book reference : Book 37, Hadith 149 English translation : Vol. 5, Book 37, Hadith 4119 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ، أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَى عُمَرَ يَسْأَلُهُ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اقْضِ بِمَا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَبِسُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ فِي سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاقْضِ بِمَا قَضَى بِهِ الصَّالِحُونَ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ فِي سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَمْ يَقْضِ بِهِ الصَّالِحُونَ فَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَتَقَدَّمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَتَأَخَّرْ وَلاَ أَرَى التَّأَخُّرَ إِلاَّ خَيْرًا لَكَ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ. It was narrated from Shuraih that: He wrote to Umar, to ask him (a question), and Umar wrote back to him telling him: Judge according to what is in the Book of Allah. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah, then (judge) according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], then pass judgment according to the way the righteous passed judgment. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah, or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], and the righteous did not pass judgment concerning it, then if you wish, go ahead (and try to work it out by yourself) or if you wish, leave it. And I think that leaving it is better for you. And peace be upon you. Grade : Sahih (Darussalam) Reference : Sunan an-Nasai 5399 In-book reference : Book 49, Hadith 21 English translation : Vol. 6, Book 49, Hadith 5401 Note: Imam Nasai r.a created Chapter and set this Hadith the Chapter was(Chapter: Ruling According to the Consensus of the Scholars) now ask to ahle hadis wahabi salafi tawheedi khawrjis do they believe in Consensus(group and Majority of Scholars?) Sahih Bukhari Book 56 Hadith 803 Narrated Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman: , ..... He said, Yes, there will be some people who will invite others to the doors of Hell, and whoever accepts their invitation to it will be thrown in it (by them). I said, O Allahs Apostle! Describe those people to us. He said, They will belong to us and speak our language (i.e Arabic) I asked, What do you order me to do if such a thing should take place in my life? , He said, Adhere to the CONGREGATION OF MUSLIMS and their Chief. I asked, If there is neither a group (of Muslims) nor a chief (what shall I do)? He said, Keep away from all those different sects, even if you had to bite (i.e. eat) the root of a tree, till you meet Allah while you are still in that state.[END] Imam Ibn e Hajr Asqalni says Jammah in this hadith means Sawad ul Azam (the majority group) Reference:( Fath ul Bari, volume 29, pg 331 , By Imam Asqalani (rah)) Whoever leaves the Community or separates himself from it by the length of a span, dies the death of the Jahiliyya (period of ignorance prior to Islam) [Sahih Muslim (Imara #55) through Ibn `Abbas. Muslim relates it with slight variations through three more chains. Ibn Abi Shayba also relates it in his Musannaf.] Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani(Radi Allahu anhu)(470 AH) says in his famous book Ghuniyya-tut-Talibeen There are 73 groups as foretold by Sayyidunna Rasoolullah(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). The group which will be saved from the fire of Hell is the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah. Imam Ghazali(Radi Allahu anhu) (450 AH-505 AH) in his book Mujarribaate Imam Ghazali states The Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah is the sucessful group and it is this group which weighs or determines its thoughts and its mind according to the scales of the Holy Quran. Imam Sufyan Souri(Radi Allahu anhu)(95 AH-161 AH) in his book Al Mizaanul Qubra states By Sawad-e-Azam is meant those who are called the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah. Imam Rabbani Mujaddid Alf Thanni(Radi Allahu anhu)(971 AH- 1034 AH) states in his famous book Maktubaat The way of Salvation is followance of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah. May Almighty Allah bestow blessings upon the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah, in their speech, in their actions, laws, for this is the successful group . Besides this, all other groups have become victims of deception. Today, nobody realises how much these misled groups will be punished, however, on the Day of Judgement this secret will become apparent. Even though at that time this knowledge will be of no benefit to the misled. It is compulsory for the wise people to amend their beliefs to be in accordance with the beliefs of the Ahle Sunnah Wa Jamaah because this is the only group which will be saved from the fire of Hell. Opposing the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah will completely destroy you forever and make you liable for everlasting punishment . If there are shortcomings in your worship, then there is still hope of forgiveness. However, if your beliefs are incorrect then there is no hope of forgiveness at all. Imam Rabbani states that Khwaja Ubaid-Ullah Al-Ahrar(Radi Allahu anhu)(895 AH) stated If I were given all the Kashfs(revelations) and all the Karamas(miracles), yet were deprived of the faith of Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah, I would consider myself ruined. If I did not have any kashf or karamas but had lots of faults, and if (only) the faith of Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah were bestowed on me , I would not feel sorry. Imam Tahtawi Hanafi(Radi Allahu anhu) states in marginalia of the book Ad-Durr Al-Mukhtar One who departs from the path of the Ulama (scholars) of fiqh, from As-Sawad Al-Azam , will have directed himself to Hell. Oh Muslims! Therefore, hold fast to the path of Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah which is called Al-Firqat An-Najiyya . The unique group reported by the holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) to be saved from Hell! Because Allahs help, protection and taking to bliss are only for those who are on this path. Allahs wrath and torture are for those who dissent from this path. Today, this firqat najiyya has gathered in the four Madhhabs, namely, Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki and Hanbali. One who does not belong to any of these four Madhhabs is a man of Bida. Imam Muhammad Mathum(Radi Allahu anhu)(1007 AH-1079 AH) in his book Mektubat states O my noble and honourable sir! The essence of all preaching and the most valuable piece of advice is to meet the men of Allah and keep them company. And being a man of Allah, and adhering to Islam, in its turn, depends on holding fast to the right way guided by the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaah, who, among various groups , are the only group blessed with the good news that they are the group of Salvation. Unless you follow the way guided by these great people, there cannot be Salvation. These statements of ours are confirmed by owners of wisdom, by scientists and by the kashfs of Awliya. There is no mistaking. Sheikh Abdul Haq(Radi Allahu anhu) writes in his famous book Ash at-ul-Lamat The group of Muslims on the correct path, who will enter Paradise, are the Ahle-Sunnah-Wal-Jamaah. It is a well known fact that to fully understand Islamic beliefs, intelligence alone is not sufficient. The sources through which we have received Islamic knowledge from the holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) are the great pious scholars of Islam. Ahadith and statements of Sahaba clearly prove that the beliefs of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah are exactly the same as the beliefs of the Sahaba and the Salaf-e-Saliheen. The new ideas and beliefs have all appeared after the time of our pious predecessor. None of the Sahaba, the Salaf-e-Saliheen or the pious scholars of Islam followed the new ideas or beliefs. They strictly abstained from the groups who followed these deviated ideas and beliefs. Their beliefs and actions opposed these new ideas and beliefs. All the great scholars of Hadith and the great scholars of Fiqh of the four Sunni Schools of thought and their followers, all held the belief of the Ahle Sunnah Jamaah. In addition, all the great pious Muslims and the Sufi Saints of the past and present, followed the way of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaah. Their great literary works stand witness to this fact. If you want a clear proof that what I have said above is correct, then gather together all the authentic books ever to be written on Hadith, Tafsir, Ilm-e-Kalam, Fiqh, Seerah of the holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and Islamic history. Compare these authentic books with the books of the other groups and then it will be obvious, that the largest group of Muslims is the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah. Note: now each an every Muslims knows Sunni Ahle Sunnah wal Jammah is the one Largest Group in world No SHia no Wahabi no Salafi no Ahle Hadis no Khawrjiss From Shias Rafdhis Authentic Book Najhul Balagha Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 126 Ali says:“With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course. So be with him and be with the great majority of Muslims because Allah’s hand of protection is on keeping unity. You should beware of division because the one isolated from the group is a prey to Satan just as the one isolated from the flock of sheep is a prey to the wolf. Beware! Whoever calls to this course [of sectarianism], kill him, even though he may be under this headband of mine.” Note: Shias Oppose Majority and goes against of Majority and Curse Companions of Prophet Muhammad sal lal la hu alehi wasalaam even if they are in minority they believe they are on right way....
