As-Salaamu alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh, guys. Hope all of us are having a good week so far. There is an aayah in the Quraan where Allaah says: It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. This aayah refers to the Day of Judgement. In no way am I qualified to interpret Quraan, but when I think about this aayah, it reminds me of the dreams we have. You know when we dream, and sometimes the dream feels so long? And then when we wake up, we realise we were only sleeping for a few hours. It will be like that on the Day of Jugdement. Wed be woken up from this dream and the whole life we spent on Earth would feel like just an afternoon or a morning. But this time, what we do in the dream actually matters. It wont be like how we wake up every morning and say, that was a weird dream, and then forget about it. It would be more like, stuff just got real... And then our real life actually begins. So lets constantly remind ourselves that this life is temporary and keep making preparation for the true eternal life to come. May all of us be reunited in a good place in the life to come. Aameen.
