As Salaamun Alaikum We have to come together to stop this - TopicsExpress

As Salaamun Alaikum We have to come together to stop this abuse that is affecting our future generations of children and mothers. Enough is enough! I am especially reaching out to the Community of Believing Women at this time, but as Muslims, we do not just think of ourselves, but also all Mankind, as it is stated in the Quran. TRUE STORY A Muslim woman was beaten and left with damage to her face and body. She lost her baby that she was carrying. She then went to the Masjid for support. She was told to go home and be a good Muslim wife. The abuser was spoken to by individuals at the Masjid, and nothing else was done. The same abuser remarried and beat another Muslim sister and her daughter also. The abuser is still out there abusing people and tries to make contact with women who are deemed weak, lonely and looking for a husband. My mother was beaten until she became paralyzed by my father. I have always and will always be an advocate for women, children, disabled people and elderly people who are abused! We, at AL Maidah Inc., are against Faith-Based organizations that do not support against Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and Elderly Abuse! Are you going to sign this petition today? See if you can get 10 people to sign too! I have just visited gopetition/petitions/prosecution-for-faith-based-organizations-not-against-domestic-violence.html “O you, who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for God, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, God is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed God is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.”
