As Salamu Alaykum Alhamdulillah two projects have come my way in which the brothers have asked for help. The first project is an opening of a maternity hospital in rural Bangladesh. My friends have relatives from this village. There is nothing decent within a 30 mile radius. Therfore majority of the people have to travel hours or give birth at home in poor conditions. The charity is called RDF Global. Theyre building the first purpose built maternity hospital and will be providing medical treatment/aid for patients in this particular village. All I am requesting is donations of Zakat, Sadakah or Lillah for this project. Few days remain in Ramadhan, so lets make the most of it. The second project is that me and two friends have pledged £1000 for Cage (formerly known as Cage Prisoners). Since the false arrest of Moazzam Begg, Cage have had assets frozen and accounts closed, they are running on a tight budget. These are the people who helped with the release of Muslims who were arrested on false terrorism charges or help families of those who are still behind bars. These are the people who we need and want if any of us get arrested on false charges. Without our help, they can do very little. Every little helps so please dig deep. The more we raise the better. For this project interest money is acceptable. Spread the word. Please let me know what you can give if anything. I need to get this sorted in the next couple of weeks inshallah.
