As Summer draws to a close, and Autumn is looming, we take into account by nature all that the harvest will bring. Its time to count our blessings and harvest what we have produced in the season. Not just vegetables or fruit, but the many things we might call blessings or lifes rewards. Dream of the coming harvest season and the bounty of the things we plant or planned in the Spring. Harvest means the the elections are drawing near and the reaping of the political reality is standing on our participation in democracy on Nov 4. Do we reap a stronger more people oriented government or do we fall further under the clutches of the misanthropes of the right that favors corporate goals over people goals. At times they can be one and the same, but as of late the corporate goals outweigh the peoples needs, and the fascist and plutocrats spend billions to make us an oligarchy. Halloween is the season we will start to see the mood of the country. Will we be at war again with Isis or whomever the corporate controlled media points to, or the CIA prefers? Will we be deeper in the dark corners of selfishness and greed, of lobbyist that steal our representation in Congress? With the gerrymandering of districts and the Citizens United funds pouring in to the pockets of the candidates, it is not easy to overcome the wealth of the oligarchs that plot to ruin America one election and step at a time. Our fate is in the hands of the people that vote and the open minded find Mid term elections boring and few show up. This gives the greedy a chance to seize more power, and ruin democracy a bit more... We need this election or Obamas agenda and all progressives ideas are through, at least for a while, perhaps forever... I cannot emphasize the importance of this Mid term, but let us agree it may be the most important Mid term election in history.
