Hope you all were inspired and blessed by the message you received in your church today, and I hope this message is about to do the same. Let’s have a look at the verse, we’re looking at: Isaiah 1:18 Amplified Bible (AMP) 18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. Let’s look at what it says, “Come now, let us reason together.” It doesn’t say argue or be disgruntled. Says, “Reason together.” This involves hearing each other out. Discussing the issues with each other. This is a lost art; in modern times and yes even in the modern church, and this is one of the things that allowed the Catholic Church to lose its way. There is no room for discussing God’s word in the Catholic Church. Praise God we still have that gift from Him, afforded to us. Some of us, anyway, and you can ask me why is it a big deal to sit down and talk about what God said? The verse answers that, itself if you would actually read it. If you actually read it. Your sins are like scarlet, your sins are like the blood Cain spilt, nothing has changed. But like Adam and Eve, God has covered you. And for your sin that called for your blood He gave His blood instead. And it is His blood, that you are “COUNTED” righteous by, lots of people want to translate that as made righteous, that is totally incorrect! You are “Counted” righteous, by His blood! If you think you are now made righteous, take a really deep honest, self evaluation and tell me how far or how near righteous you are. The verse even tells us this that He will make us like wool. But it does not say we are made. Paul in one of his epistles was bold enough to say, that if we were made perfect, us being the humans that we are, would liken ourselves to God. I dare say, I meet far too many people trying to do that. And not near enough people trying to give the glory to God for this. See, its one thing for satan to point out the sins of your past, but it’s an entirely different problem, when you forget what you were on your own. See, on our own we are scarlet. In Him, we are wool. On our own, we are at the whim of satan and the flesh. In Him, our weakness is made perfect. On our own, we bite into the apple. In Him, God spilled the blood of an animal to cover our sins. Did you catch that? Do you really catch that? In the beginning God spilled the blood to cover the sin. Then the calling an end to it, God came down and spilled His blood. In both cases, man was standing there scarlet. So then, I would call you, my brothers and sisters, to reason together, as the verse says. If you have a list of sins that you want to bring charges against a person, well God says in the Bible, that if you break one of the laws you’re guilty of all the laws. So the sin list you want to bring against another, you may as well say, is your list of charges against you. Furthermore, the Word of God says, what you forgive on earth will be forgiven in Heaven, and what you hold against on earth, will be held against you in Heaven. So in closing, let us reason together and understand the Salvation that God has offered to all of us, even people we don’t like. Allow us to reason together, that God says, He is the one and only righteous judge. Allow us to reason, this does not mean that we go along with evil, or as the Word says, God hates the sin not the sinner. And so must we be, we must walk the difficult task of not standing for the wrong, but understanding that the person that did it, is scarlet just like we were before His Grace and His Mercy counted us righteous, through faith in Him. Goodnight. Why me Lord https://youtube/watch?v=g2u_rEcWW8M
