As a Christian it is very important for you to know who you are and what you are able to do. When you do not know who you are, the devil will show you who you are not. Many Christians are suffering today because they do not know who they are. God said in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” Destruction does not come because the devil is too strong; Destruction comes due to lack of knowledge. Inclusively, it is also important to know that some people might have some knowledge, but do not have enough knowledge. Many people fail examinations not because they don’t know anything but because they don’t know enough to enable them pass the examination. This is to say that there is a clear difference between just having knowledge and having enough knowledge. Some people have some light but do not have sufficient light to overcome the darkness confronting them. How do we make sure that we have enough light to confront the darkness? We must go on a desperate search in the word; We must make a project of our desired goal; we must go for light in the area of our need. What is your greatest need? Go for light on that matter! The more light you have on it, the more the darkness is overpowered and the more you take over. 1 Timothy 4:13 and 15, “Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” Buy anointed books and get relevant materials on any area of challenge you might be going through.
