As a Delivery Driver, I am one of many people who work outside for a living.In good weather or bad, I am out there. Today with the snow and extreme cold, it was challenging. 14.5 Hours today. Needless to say after work I was hungry and wanted to warm up. I ended up at Dagwoods restaurant on St.Charles Boulevard in Kirkland quebec.to order a sandwich to take home. There was a customer in the line before me and a young man behind the counter. We got to talking about the weather and how cold it was, I was still in my work uniform and told the two gentlemen that I work out in this cold etc. All of a sudden, the gentleman before me was paying for his sandwich and told the cashier that he was going to pay for mine. I was shocked and I asked why, and he explained that his Father worked at the same company as me and that he was a driver for 20 years. He said he knew what us drivers go through on days like this and he thanked me and told me to keep warm. I shook his hand and thanked him.First time in my life that a stranger paid for me.I want to say Thanks to the gentleman for his generosity and for bringing my spirits up. There truly are good people out there in the world. Thank you again sir, Psst the sandwich was excellent
