As a Lead Auditor OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety); I feel sad over the importance Indian companies pay to employees/workers well being and safety issues. Most of the times, the work area is so mismanaged and activities being carried in purely unsafe conditions. Same tendency is evident in self/ Group employed people in small biz/work activities. This bears ref. to one recent death of a worker employed in glass work for my house project in my home town. Unless the Employer provide Quality work environment; a quality product can never be framed.
