As a Navigator at Commuity Community Health Connect I have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with hundreds of individuals and help them find their way through a very complex and frustrating process to find very good, affordable healthcare coverage through local, Utah companies. There is much that is good about the Affordable Care Act beyond the politics and partisanship, in that many who could not get insurance due to pre-existing conditions, or low income, or no job-based group insurance, can now be insured.
