As a PR professional I cannot believe that the Patriots let Brady do a press conference without a prepared statement similar to how Belicheck handled his this morning. The first rule is to always to make sure you present your position/point of view rather than let other do that for you, which can become twisted. Toms Q&A press conference did more harm than good for him and the Pats. I sincerely hope that he is telling the truth and that some other individual or circumstance can be found that explains how this all happened. The shame is that it cast a shadow over everything the team has accomplished this year and will now dog Toms legacy even though all QBs admit to doctoring the ball in some form.
