As a Punjabi married to a Madrasee (OK, Kannadiga, same thing, - TopicsExpress

As a Punjabi married to a Madrasee (OK, Kannadiga, same thing, no?), I can say one thing basis not just my own experiences but also of a few other that I know, that it is the Punjabi sister-in-law who is a more elaborately disguised creature. Rest is up to you to figure out! But seriously, my take is that, generalising here, sure, the son-in-law is just another add-on part of the family going about its own thing in most of the South while up North the son-in-law is expected to be waited on hand-and-foot for the rest of his life. And thats where the fun and complications set in too. Education has nothing to do with it. youtube/watch?v=h1vp8zqtGH8
