As a South African football supporter, Im concerned with the total disregard of Afrikan continental competitions by Kaizer Chiefs. This is in stark contrast with the gains made by Orlando Pirates last season and Mamelodi Sundowns in previous years. This is made worse by the fact that Chiefs coach is a foreigner who has decided that we as Afrikans should not take our own competitions seriously and that call has been unwisely heeded by the Chiefs family. Chiefs are proving to be very bad ambassadors for South African football and are not worthy to be representing South Africa in any continental competitions at all. They have snubbed continental football in the past and continue to do so and in so doing continue to embarass South Africa football.
