As a black man I know this is true when it comes to discrimination and the effects it has on your mental health. If I did not have a strong support network some of the destructive behaviors would have killed me or landed me in prison. It bothers me that some say we have come along way and we are equal, but not in the eyes of those you have to go to and apply for your wages. This was an informative read.
