As a cancer patient, and as a survivor....I understand what the pink wash / pink ribbons are all about. It would be nice though if there was a single ribbon to honor all forms of cancer. There are over 200 different kinds. It would be nice if these sports teams, department stores, etc. would bring awareness to ALL of these. Prostate, lung, lymphoma, leukemia, brain, bone, ovarian, melanoma, myeloma, colon, kidney, pancreatic, stomach.......just to name a few. Just stating a point because I have so many friends who are battling so many different kinds right now.. Every cancer has its own ribbon, and its own color.
